Rancho Capistrano in San Juan, Capistrano, California. Wearing ivory tie and black suiting, the groom looks pensive and thoughtful as he waits to give his bride a love letter at their semi-“reveal” moment. She, dressed in a confection of lace (notice the mermaid skirt!) and high strappy silver sandals, has a message for him, too. Little members of the wedding party, flower girls and a young groomsman, look very grownup for the occasion, while the maids look smashing in coral-colored one-shoulder dresses with lots of graceful draping. A simple floral arch greets the couple for their ceremony, full of laughter and love, and shaded by glorious palm trees special occasion dresses.
Once the vows are said, with a stop for a few poses against the setting sun, it’s time for a party. But this is no ordinary wedding reception — there’s no Chicken Dance here! Instead, the bride dances individually just for her groom, wearing flowers and greenery; then the couple change into traditional outfits from both their cultures and unite their families in ancient dances that bespeak centuries’ worth of heritage being joined. The wedding cakes are pure white frosted layers bedecked with orchids…and all too soon, the groom is “bedecked” with frosting on his nose, courtesy of his mischievous new bride. Finally, as evening fades into night, the couple once more dons their ceremony clothes and are sent off in a shower of warm wishes, congratulations, and confetti that sparkles as brightly as their promising future together cheap prom dresses under 100 .
