Best Wedding Guest Books at Stylish Eve in 2013

You want to remember your treasured wedding guests forever, and one great way to remember them is with a guest book — or substitute — that both expresses your personalities and allows some creative freedom…like these, which are among the best ideas we’ve seen this year at Stylish Eve. You can invite your guests to write a message with markers of their choice, on a large easel outside your reception hall — or have a photo album with plenty of “white space” and invite them to inscribe the pages with messages for the bride and groom. Many couples have guests write them “postcards” of wishes and deposit them in a pretty box at the wedding site — or encourage them to type a message on a vintage typewriter, insert it in a pretty envelope, and leave it in a handy basket Prom Dresses 2013.

Some “guest books” feature instant photos of the couple, banners, and treats; at least one couple put up a sketch of a tree with the “lovebirds” included on it — and invited others to put “leaves” of fingerprints and good wishes on the tree alongside them. One couple gave guests individual slates and chalk for messages; many couples set mini-notebooks on reception tables for guests to write advice designated for specific anniversaries! The traditional book with decorated pen, of course, is still popular; trim its table with wedding programs, a copy of the invitation, bouquets in the chosen colors, or candies, mints, or other mini-favors. But whatever you choose, you can be assured of one thing: your guests will enjoy putting their touch on your wedding as much as you enjoyed inviting them cheap prom dresses 2014 !

High School Sweethearts’ Wedding in Auburn

Know someone who married his/her high school sweetheart? This couple met in Auburn, Alabama, and returned there for their nuptials, The groom wears midnight-blue suiting, pale green tie, and argyle socks; the bride’s all girly curls and lace in her strapless gown and demure bow-trimmed heels. After a “reveal” in a woodland garden, the couple climb into a natty golf cart and make their way toward their outdoor ceremony site. The groom and his men mug for the camera — no pre-wedding nerves here! — while the bride pauses for a kiss from Mom and Dad. Treats await the guests, wrapped in blue ribbons; a blue “pawprint” dish is the repository for rings; and handy fans help keep everyone cool cheap short prom dresses.

Beneath a floral arbor, the pair say their vows, then march to the strains of a string quartet down a green aisle and into the open-air reception pavilion. Sandwiches and toasts for the guests are crowned with the ultimate treat: a cake that’s shaped like a football stadium — and emblazoned with the Auburn Tigers’ colors! A first romantic dance, a pause to sign the marriage license, and sharing some cake follow; the bride has a ball with her girls dancing around her waving paper fans. As night falls, the guests sing along with the band, the bride tosses her bouquet with gusto, and the groom peeks over his shoulder to see where the garter lands. Then, the sparklers come out: the guests light them up to bid the happy pair goodnight…and the last kiss is done by vivid firelight as the newlyweds start their life together short prom dresses under 100.
